1. What style are the photographs in? Documentary? Portaiture?
2. What is the title of the work and is it important/significant?
3. When was the work made?
4. What is the work about?
5. Have the images been digitally manipulated and if so how?
6. Describe the use of composition? Light? Colour? Distance? And so on...
7. What size are the images and how many images belong to the series??
8. What context are the images viewed in? Magazine? Newspaper? Book?
9. What are the photographer's influences? Are they relevant?
10. Does the work remind you of anything else? Other photographs? Films?
11. Does the work inspire you? Do you like the images? WHY???
12. How does the work relate to the assignment/unit? Compare your work/ideas to that of the photographers.
